We are still enjoying the warm weather, but soon the cold winds will blow, and the snow will fly!
My name is Peter Thiel, and with my wife, Gay, we’re here to talk to you about our upcoming COAT DRIVE.
There is need in our communities for coats, hats, gloves, mittens, and scarves, for men, women, and children. Other cold weather items are gratefully accepted, like sweaters, hoodies and blankets. We will be collecting these items starting Sunday, September 30 and continuing through October 27, with distribution planned for November 1 st. Items can be new or used, in good clean condition, of course, and will be sorted and brought to local agencies including Acts 4 and Southington Community Services. Both have expressed needs for cold weather clothing.
