Luke 6:17-19
Many today quibble about what should to be our primary focus in the church. Should it be teaching?
Should it be ministry with power? In Jesus’ ministry, people came both for the teaching and to be
healed of diseases. When we focus on one over the other, we may unknowingly drift into spiritual
idolatry. When we lack teaching, people are ill equipped to follow Christ becoming stuck in fascination
without transformation. When we lack the demonstration of the Spirit in power, we are left unnecessarily
struggling with various afflictions becoming content with information without transformation. May God
give us grace to follow Jesus fully.
