Does your pastor speak to the flesh or the spirit? Pastor John has been speaking about the Holy Spirit and other spirits for several sermons. He reiterates the importance of testing the spirits to make certain they are from God (1 John 4:1). We do this so as to not fall into deception. It also begs the question, “Are we giving the Holy Spirit time to speak to us and to show us the things of God, applicable to us, our purpose and anointing?” He questions if our generation has the same spiritual aptitudes as previous believers.
