Using illustrations of the grumbling and discontentment of the Israelites (in Exodus 15-17 and Numbers 11) we see how discontentment leads to deception and destruction. Applied to ourselves today, we need to give thanks for all God has done for us, be content with God’s daily provision, and improve our spiritual memory through prayer, worship and study of God’s Word. As we keep growing in the Holy Spirit, we see God’s promises fulfilled in our lives.
