At Calvary Life Family Worship Center, Passion Friday was a powerful time of reflection, worship, and deep study in God’s Word.
Through a verse-by-verse teaching in Leviticus 16, we were reminded of the depth and weight of atonement—and how the Old Testament sacrificial system ultimately points to Jesus Christ.
What once required offerings, rituals, and limited access to God’s presence was fully completed through the cross.
Jesus became the perfect sacrifice.
Because of Him, we are no longer separated—we now have direct access to God as sons and daughters, not through ritual, but through relationship.
Passion Friday is more than a tradition—it is a reminder of:
- The cost of our salvation
- The power of the cross
- The freedom found in Jesus Christ
As we reflect on the sacrifice that was made, we are challenged to not take it lightly—but to live with a faith that is rooted, grounded, and fully surrendered.
