This week Pastor Ken continues speaking on the Sword of the Spirit (Word of God).
It was illustrated with a discussion of the kings in 2 Chron 9 and in particular, Hezekiah who restored worship in the Temple. There was housecleaning and repair of the spaces that belonged to God but had been filled with other things. This was likened to our lives as we often don’t leave room for God.
We were encouraged, too that just as Hezekiah cut off the water supply (2 Chron 32) to his enemies that we need to stop nourishing the Enemy. Stop talking to him, stop listening to him. Talk to God, ask Him for help.
