Pastor John moves on this week to the 4th bucket, Image. We were created in the image and likeness of God. We lost the power and authority in that when sin entered the world. Jesus is restoring us to the image of God.
Our lives can be summed up as a constant manipulation of our image. This man created image is far from God’s image of us. We are off course, straying from our Creator’s intention. The world, culture and our own sense of self worth drain our Image bucket. When we are saved, we are filled with the Holy Spirit. We are reborn with divine nature, reflecting the image of God, not self.
